MgOBPA was formed in 2024 to represent the interests of MgO-based building products in the U.S. and internationally. Manufacturers, suppliers, re-sellers, installers, and all others working with MgO-based products are welcome to join and participate in this exciting endeavor. Membership is open to all companies interested in advancing education and adoption of MgO-based building products in the U.S. and internationally.

To advance the understanding and adoption of MgO building products in the North American construction industry.

Vision

To inspire and equip design professionals, construction professionals, and consumers with the knowledge and skills needed to embrace magnesium oxide building products while actively contributing to and shaping building codes for a more resilient and sustainable future.

Leadership

MgOBPA is led by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of MgO industry veterans selected from member companies across the U.S.

MgOBPA’s membership is comprised of manufacturers, suppliers, re-sellers, installers, and other industry companies working with MgO building products.

Membership is open to companies interested in supporting our mission and industry.

Policy

MgOBPA and its members work together to influence test methods and building codes in ways that maximize the potential of MgO building products in the United States while maintaining integrity and credibility in the market.

Education

Our association and its member companies provide communications and host events for industry professionals and the general public promoting MgO building product benefits, industry news, and educational information.

Research & Development

We work with industry allies and partners to align efforts that yield credible technical and market research that support growth in the specification and use of MgO building products as a whole.
